In a close race, Democrat Monica Bristow of Godfrey has held off a challenge from Republican Mike Babcock of Wood River in the Illinois 111th District House race. Bristow won the seat by a little over 300 votes and wins election to a seat she was appointed to late last year.
In the 112th District, incumbent Democrat Katie Stuart of Edwardsville successfully held off Republican Dwight Kay 55% to 45%. Republican Avery Bourne has kept her seat in the 95th District, beating challenger Dillon Clark 60% to 40%.
