If you missed the recent household hazardous waste collection day in Godfrey, there’s another chance to get rid of items around the house or in the garage.  Madison County and the Illinois EPA are teaming up for a free drop off for all Illinois residents this Saturday on the SIU-Edwardsville campus.

They will not accept latex paints, used tires, smoke detectors, business or biohazard waste. An appointment is required in order to avoid long waits and the collection is open to all Illinois residents with home-based waste. To register, call 618-296-5237. The collection point will be on the SIU-Edwardsville campus, at parking lot P-8 on North Research Drive on Saturday October 26 from 8am to 3pm.  For more information or to sign up on line, click the link below:
