The City of Edwardsville will re-open city owned buildings for normal business hours starting today. The reopening comes following the announcement from the IDPH that Region 4, which includes Madison County, has been moved to Tier 2 mitigations.
Tier 2 mitigations allow for meetings, social evens and gatherings of groups up to 10 people in indoor and outdoor settings.
City buildings that will reopen today include City Hall, Public Works, and the Edwardsville Public Library. Masks and social distancing will still be enforced. Bars and restaurants continue to be limited to carry out and outdoor dining under Tier 2 mitigations.
