The Lewis and Clark Community College soccer stadium will soon have a new name. Tomorrow (Saturday) morning, the stadium will be renamed after retired soccer coach Tim Rooney. Coach Rooney retired at the end of November 2017 after serving for 31 years as the soccer coach at Lewis and Clark.
Coach Rooney started coaching the men's program in 1986 and started the women's program in 1993. Vice President of Student Engagement Sean Hill tells The Big Z Rooney amassed more than 400 wins each.

A brief dedication ceremony will be held at about 11:30am, between a pair of alumni games. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
