The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis has been activated to investigate an apparent murder in the Glen Carbon area. The Madison County Sheriff's Office was called to the area of Chaparral Lane just after 8pm Sunday to investigate a call for shots fired. When they got there, they found 45-year-old Tyrone A. Grady of St. Louis lying in the street.
Major Jeff Connor is leading this investigation. He tells The Big Z violence of this type is uncommon in this neighborhood.
