The Mississippi Earthtones Festival returns to downtown Alton on Saturday. The festival, now in its 12th year is on Saturday September 15th, and organizers say the new Broadway location has been a good fit for the festival. The festival will feature conservation, music, food, and art and this year a recycled fashion show.
The show encourages artists and designers to utilize waste by creating garments that turn it into fashion. Music is also a big part of the festival. Co-organizer Sarah McGibany tells The Big Z Jakes Leg will hit the main stage from 7-10pm, but the rest of the lineup is incredible as well.
