John Brunkhorst

John S. “Scott” Brunkhorst, 61, passed away at 4:45 am, October 19, 2017 at his home.He was born in Bonne Terre, Missouri on November 16, 1955, the son of John W. and Laura (Wilkerson) Brunkhorst.John was a construction supervisor at the local carpenters union and a member of the White Flag Christian Church in Oakville, Missouri.  He also enjoyed golfing and sports.He is survived by his wife, Joyce Leann Combs, a son Michael (Jamye) Brunkhorst of Godfrey, Il., a daughter Sara (Curtis) Townsel of Florida; six grandchildren, Michael, Jeffery and Caleb Brunkhorst, Chandler McGath and Ian and Olivia Townsel; and his brother Don Brunkhorst of Godfrey, Il.Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home 2521 Edwards Street Alton Il 62002 with services following at 11, the Reverend Doug Jenkins will officiate.Memorials may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of the arrangements.Online condolences and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
