Doris M. Naylor, 95, passed away at 5:33 am, on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland, IL.
She was born on April 26, 1922, the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Estella (Schappaugh) Guile. Doris married the love of her life, Richard L. Naylor, on March 16, 1941.
Doris raised 4 children, George and Elisa Naylor, with 5 children in California, Gayle and Rick Boschert, with 5 children in Edwardsville, Maria and Stan Cements, with 2 children in Virginia, and the late Richard Naylor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Richard, granddaughter Connie Naylor and a grandson Matt Boschert.
She left memories for her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Doris retired from Olin Corporation after 43 years of service. She enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling to visit family and friends. She served as a faithful member of the Lifebrook Church, and really loved the lord.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 10 am at Lifebrook Church in Bethalto. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
