Victor “Dewayne” Morris, 51, of East Alton, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018, in Arkansas.
Dewayne was born on December 28, 1966, in Missouri, the son of Carlos Morris and Marilyn Mathews. Both have preceded him in death.
He enjoyed camping at Timber Trails in Mulberry Grove, IL, watching NASCAR, playing softball, winning at cornhole and spending time with his family and friends.
Dewayne is survived by his fiancé Wanda J. Hollandsworth; 3 children, Kaleb Morris of East Alton, Jeremy Morris of Godfrey, and Courtney (Randy) Hopkins of Wood River; 3 grandchildren, Brayden, Makaylyn, and Henley; 3 brothers, Mike (Kim) Morris of Cottage Hills, Skip Morris of Cottage Hills, Mark (Charlie) Morris of Texas; and 1 sister, Missy Chambers of Jerseyville.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral service will begin at 6:30 pm, Pastor Charles West will officiate.
