Thomas “Mike” Hope, 80, died at 6:16 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at his residence.
He was born September 23, 1941, in Enid, OK the son of the late Thomas and Helen (Kennedy) Hope. He attended Wentworth Military Academy and graduated from Phillips University. He worked for Owens- Illinois in the human resource department and eventually retired from Smurfit-Stone in 2004. On July 25, 1964, he married the love of his life Judith Peters and they shared 57 years of marriage together. She preceded him in death on August 30, 2021.
Surviving are one daughter, Susan Amundrud of Rochester, MN, one son, Phil Hope (Heather) of Godfrey, five grandchildren, Ben and Hope Amundrud, Parker, Lucy, and Liam Hope and two sisters, Mary Rita Graham of Springfield, OH, and Lucy Darr (Rich) also of Springfield, OH.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer MacKillop.
