RBGA Cuts Ribbon for MedExpress

The Riverbend Growth Association welcomed a new business to the area with a ribbon cutting on Tuesday afternoon.  MedExpress is an urgent care provider located at 1704 Homer M Adams Parkway in Alton.  Bradley Binder, Field Marketing Coordinator for MedExpress, described Urgent care as filling the space between your doctor’s office, where one would receive checkups, tests and receive disease management, and the emergency room, where one would go for care of severe to life threatening issues.
Open from 8:00am to 8:00pm every day, the average walk-in MedExpress visit takes less than an hour.  MedExpress accepts most insurance, cash and offers an online payment option.  In addition to taking x-rays, stitching up cuts and applying casts to broken services provided at MedExpress include dispensing flu shots, treating illnesses, administering sports physicals and prescribing medication.
