It's been more than a century since a young doctor named William Smith acted on his then- unorthodox belief that the disabled people of this world had the capacity and God-given right to learn and to achieve their individual potentials.
Today, Beverly Farm's doors are open wider than ever for the mentally and developmentally disabled. The Beverly Farm Foundation carries on the wonderful work of Dr. Smith and those who followed him, caring for mentally and physically disabled men and women from all over the world.
Beverly Farm is home to some 400 adults living in a 240-acre "community within a community" located on the northern edge of Godfrey, IL in the metropolitan St. Louis (MO) area.
Our mission at Beverly Farm Foundation is to provide a loving, caring home for adults with developmental disabilities, providing each individual with physical and emotional security and a dignified quality of life, with opportunities and challenges, within functional capabilities.
Beverly Farm is now judged by many as the best residential facility for adults with developmental disabilities in the United States. If there is anything we can do to assist your family, please call us at 618-466-0367 or you can visit our website.
Beverly Farm has a vibrant history of offering volunteer opportunities. Volunteer opportunities available include Special Events, Activities, Shops at Beverly Farm, Equestrian Center, Mailings and More! For more information visit www.beverlyfarm.org or email email@example.com.
