The Alton Juneteenth Committee remains committed to embracing and celebrating the rich diversity of the Alton community. Juneteenth is the oldest known African American celebration commemorating the end of slavery. Our mission is to create cultural awareness and highlight the rich diversity in the Alton community with a grand Juneteenth celebration.

To support the 28th Annual Juneteenth Celebration in 2019, we are hosting a Picture Fundraiser event. Families will receive a 10x13 portrait for a donation of $10. This is the perfect time to take the family portrait that will be a precious keepsake. Your portrait will be taken at Unity Fellowship Church in Godfrey, IL on April 6th and 7th, 2019.

Your appointment times will be scheduled for one of the above dates.
