Wood Neighbors: How to Plan, Plant, and Care for Urban Trees Presenter: Emily Ehley   This lecture will address the importance of urban trees, information about some notable species, and how to select the right tree for the right place. It will also discuss the importance of tree care such as mulching and pruning. Participants will have a chance to ask questions and explore the topic further.

Speaker Emily Ehley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Education from Warren Wilson College and is an ISA Certified Arborist. She has nearly a decade of experience as an environmental educator and is now the Southern Illinois Field Coordinator for Trees Forever. She is originally from Oregon, and is passionate about trees, forests, and the relationship between humans and the natural world. Seating is limited. Please register at 1-800-613-3163.
