Mike McCormickCurrent Mayor Mike McCormick has beaten long-time and current trustee Mark Stewart in the race for the village’s mayor. McCormick garnered 2,322 votes or 69% compared to Stewart’s 1,040 or 31%.

With Stewart's mayoral bid, there were two incumbents and three newcomers vying for three spots on the Godfrey Village Board. Sarah Woodman got the most votes of the five with 2,360. Incumbent Jeff Weber retains his seat with 1,700 votes, and Rick Lauschke unseats Nathan Schrumpf by 32 votes, 1,566 to 1,534. James Ward got just shy of 1,000 votes. Current Clerk Bethany Bohn has been reelected with 65% of the vote to challenger Kevin Botterbush’s 35%.
