With the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic hopefully in the rearview mirror, businesses in communities across the state are reopening at full capacity, assuming they survived the mitigation orders. There are numerous examples of business communities decimated by the state's orders, but according to a business leader in Jerseyville, it appears everyone made it through.
That's not to say it was easy, according to Jerseyville Economic Development Council Executive Director Shari Albrecht. But she tells The Big Z they are now bouncing back.

Albrecht says the business community dug in and did whatever they had to do to survive. She also thanks the community for continuing to shop local and support local business.
