A collection of women's goods is being held through the end of the month. The donations will go to the Oasis Women's Center in Alton, which helps mostly women and children escape abusive relationships. This collection drive is being held during Women’s History Month as a way to highlight the local organization that assists women and children in need.
One of the organizers is State Representative Monica Bristow (D-Alton), who says it's important to help out.
