The Madison County Employment and Training Department reminds the 29th annual Jobs Plus Regional Job Fair is coming up Thursday. From 9am-noon, job seekers can meet with potential employers at the Gateway Convention Center at 1 Gateway Drive in Collinsville. The head of the agency says the area is served by public transportation.
You should come dressed to impress, as some employers may hire on the spot. But Director of Employment and Training Tony Fuhrmann tells The Big Z a fairly recent development of the attitude of some job seekers and even those with jobs is puzzling.
