Road conditions could deteriorate across the metro area this weekend, as a winter storm bears down on the Midwest. Crews on the local, county and state level are ready to clear the roads, and the message from nearly every department is to be prepared, and leave plenty of room for the trucks and plows working the roads.

Barnhart asks that if you normally park on the street to try and find somewhere else to park if you can. He notes that even though they have smaller trucks that can maneuver a little better in tight situations, having fewer obstacles to deal with is preferred.
