Lewis and Clark Community College trustees have officially begun the task of finding a new president by the middle of next summer. Dr. Dale Chapman’s contract expires at the end of June 2020 and it was not renewed at last month’s board meeting. The board has voted unanimously to solicit proposals from executive search firms for the purpose of selecting the new president.

There was also action to approve an agreement to hire Forensic Accounting and Consulting Services, a firm associated with former Madison County Republican Party official Jeremy Plank, to review the college’s internal controls, policies, and procedures. That prompted this exchange between trustees Julie Johnson and Brenda Walker McCain.
