There's a new task force in Illinois, and this one will look at the problem of elder abuse. The state responded to more than 20 thousand reports of elder abuse and abuse of the disabled in the last fiscal year.

The task force is made up of 22 members representing the legislature, police, public health and other areas. They will issue a report with their findings and recommendations by January of 2021.
