That student underwent surgery on Wednesday, but his condition is unknown. In a statement from the school, they say the shooting took place around 10:40pm Tuesday, and around the time of the incident a fire alarm was pulled, and students evacuated the building.  Classes were cancelled Wednesday for WIU campuses in Macomb and in Moline, and at all extension locations, but are expected to resume on Thursday
