Mable “Marie” Clark, 92, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 6:05 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at her home. She was born December 7, 1926 in Granite City, the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Norick) Clark.
She retired from the Madison County Courthouse after many years of dedicated service as a court reporter. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Granite City and loved music and playing the piano. She had a special love for animals and cherished her cats and feeding the birds. She is survived by her loving family friends, Shirley McCommis of Granite City, Jean Martin of Granite City, Dave and Sheri Sullivan of Jerseyville, Josh Sullivan, Jerimie Sullivan, Tara Flynn, Brandi Wehrly and Phyllis Hartman of Granite City and other friends.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon with Reverend Charles West officiating.
