June Ogden, of Jerseyville, died July 15, 2019, at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis. She was born on September 25, 1933, in Carterville, IL, to William and Alice Mae (Phillips) Dollar. She married Jack Ogden on August 18, 1951, and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Jerseyville.
June is survived by her children Donna Kay Sincup of Crystal City, MO, Brenda Sue Gottshall (companion Tim Ray) of Newnan, GA, Michael Eugene (Naomi) Ogden of Waterloo, IL, William Paul “Bill” (Stephanie) Ogden of Kane, IL, brother Jim Dollar of Herrin, IL, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. June was preceded in death by her parents, husband, several brothers and sisters, and son-in-law John Joseph Sincup.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 18, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Gospel Assembly Church in Jerseyville. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at Gospel Assembly Church. Rev. Clyde Shaw will officiate. Private burial will be held in Carterville, IL, at a later date. Memorials may be made to Gospel Assembly Church. Alexander and Gubser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
