Connie J. Hartman, 69 of Granite City passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.
Connie was born on June 14, 1951 in Granite City; the daughter of the late Howard R. and Helen G. (Guenther) Wigger. Connie was a homemaker and mom and a member of Second Baptist Church in Granite City. Connie loved and adored her family and she will be remembered for all the special times they shared together.
Connie is survived by and will be missed by her daughters; Robin and Crystal; brother, Gary and Regina Wigger; sister, Nancy Wigger; grandchildren, Hayden Lammert, Kaleb Grady, Umbrea Grady and many other close family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Grady.
In celebration of Connie’s life, a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon with Pastor Chris Sedabres officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to Second Baptist Church, 2100 Illinois Ave. in Granite City. Irwin Chapel in Granite City is serving the family.
