Cheryl Lois Russell, age 52 of Glen Carbon, IL, born January 11, 1970, in St. Boniface Manitoba, Canada, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Cheryl was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, and making crafts, and was a member of First Baptist Maryville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Jacobs; and a brother, Darryl Jacobs.
Surviving are her husband, Philip Russell, Jr. whom she married on August 7, 1999; son, Hunter Caleb Russell of Glen Carbon, IL; daughter, Dakota Sioux Russell of Baton Rouge, LA; mother, Barbara Jacobs of Glen Carbon, IL; two brothers, Roger Jacobs of Canada and Joshua Jacobs of Glen Carbon, IL; three sisters, Donna Russell of Concord NH, Marcie Smith of Highland, IL and Amie Jacobs of Glen Carbon, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10 - 11 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022, at First Baptist Maryville.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tom Hufty officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Got Your Six Support Dogs and will be received at the visitation or can be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
