Lenora J. "Little Bit" Cox, 70, of Moro, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Alton Memorial Rehab.
She was born in Alton, IL, on June 9, 1954, the daughter of William H. and Dorothy M. (Martin) Randle.
Lenora enjoyed her time at home as a homemaker and watching children. She worked at the Alton Jack-in-the-Box for sometime. She loved her cats and dogs dearly. Most of all, Lenora enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her companion of 24 years, John G. Cooper of Moro; a daughter, Dusty Little of Jerseyville; two sisters, Mary Ann Gordon of Wood River, and Irene Burney of Alton; two grandchildren, Regina (Darin) Romano, and Ron (Alex) Hardwick; and two great-grandchildren, Darin, and Gabrial.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Lamkin; and two brothers, Billy Randle, and John Randle.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Pastor Terry McKinzie will officiate.
Inurnment will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospital for Children and/or Madison County Humane Society.
