About this event

Hayner Library, Alton Park and Rec. and Alton Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau are sponsoring a Solar Eclipse Viewing Party at the Alton Amphitheater. 

The free event will feature live music, food & drinks, free solar glasses and an appearance from the Bubble Bus.

The following activities have been announced with more to come. 

• Pig on a Wing Food Truck
• Kettle Korn
• Bubble Bus
• Treehouse Wildlife Center & resident animals
• Face Painting
• Tropical Snow
• Mars Needs Guitars playing live music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Corn hole 

Alton will see 99.4% Eclipse Obscuration - the fraction of the Sun's area occulted by the Moon.
