Twin Heart Meditation is a meditation technique intended to achieve illumination or universal consciousness through the activation of the heart and crown chakras. The heart and crown energy centers are referred to as "twin hearts" The heart energy center located at the center of the chest is the seat of higher refined emotions. The crown energy center (also called the spiritual heart center) located at the top of your head is the gateway to higher spiritual consciousness. When the heart and crown centers are sufficiently activated and developed one experiences divine love and oneness with all. Twin Heart Meditation is a form of world service that helps to harmonize earth by blessing it with loving-kindness, peace, joy and goodwill. When done as a group it has greater potency. In this turbulent time let's anchor love and feel a divine love and oneness. When you feel powerless this is something you can do. This gathering will be facilitated by Laura Weiss, LMT since 1997, biodynamic cranial sacral practitioner, reiki master, transformational breath facilitator and loving person. Together we will listen to Master Choa Kok Sui's CD guiding us through the Twin Heart Meditation with a short set of energy moving exercises at the beginning and end of the meditation. Experiences range from inner calmness and peace, to increased healing abilities and heightened sensitivity to more subtle energies. Contraindications for this meditation include anyone under 18, anyone with a heart ailment, hypertension, glaucoma or severe kidney or liver conditions, heavy smokers, drug users, excessive alcoholic drinkers and heavy meat eaters (especially pork), and pregnant women.
