The Wood River Park and Recreation Department is now taking registrations for our 2018 Summer Softball Leagues. Your participation in previous leagues was appreciated & we hope to see your team this year. We offer one of the finest softball programs in the metro area & we are always attempting to make it better.

LEAGUE DESCRIPTIONS

8-Team Leagues. We need a minimum of 6 teams in any league to actually form that league.

ASA regulations as well as Wood River Park & Recreation League rules apply. All leagues use ASA Certified Umpires.

League Awards: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place teams voucher or team trophy, managers choice.

All men’s leagues roster size limit is 20 players, Co-Ed has unlimited roster size.

Rosters: All rosters must be signed by each member of your team (minimum of 10 signatures) and turned into the Recreation Department (Round House) by Monday, April 23, 2018. TEAMS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY ANY GAMES UNTIL A ROSTER IS ON FILE! If you use a player that is not on your roster, you will forfeit that game and must pay a $25 fine before your team is allowed to play again. The use of NON-ROSTERED players has been a problem in the past and will no longer be tolerated.

Co-Ed League Men bat opposite hand, Competitive Co-Ed Men bat Normal Hand.

Registration Information: Registration Ends: March 31, 2018 ***A $50 late fee will be added to all registrations after March 31st*** NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Final Registration Deadline: March 31, 2018 - For your registration to be considered complete it must include: 1. Payment in Full (NO deposits will be accepted) 2. A completed registration form. League Play Dates: All Leagues are scheduled to begin play the week of April 23, 2018

Registration Includes: Umpire Fees, Score Book, One Dozen ASA Approved Game Balls.

Game Locations: Emerick Sports Complex (6th Street).

Friday Men’s Open (14 Games) $470 (2 Umpires)

RAINOUTS Rainouts will be made up for three weeks after the regular league season on regular league nights. After that, games might be played another night or on weekends until the season is completed. All Co-Ed rainouts will be made up as Double Headers.
