Progressive Gospel’s Soul’d Out Quartet chose indie/pop/soul singer Jason McAtee—a native of Godfrey, IL—as its lead singer in 2016. Since then, Jason has toured the country and shared the stage with CCM talents Sidewalk Prophets, Josh Wilson, Royal Tailor, Rush of Fools, Newsong, Love and the Outcome, and others. Now, augmenting his career with his second solo effort, Jason is releasing his latest EP, Life, with a free concert at Godfrey Memorial Chapel on December 1 at 7 PM. Jason’s latest 5-song offering contains songs he penned and produced in the wake of the loss of both of his parents. In processing his grief, he’s found an uplifting message for people who have suffered heartache and want to find a way back to hope.
