Illinois' hemp harvest fell slightly last year. Hemp farmers harvested nearly 2,400 acres during the second season of the industry. That's down from 2019 when farmers harvested just under 2,800 acres of hemp, according to State Department of Agriculture Division of Cannabis Manager David Lakeland.
