Madison County is set to dole out a second round of $20,000 in CARES Act grants for public service agencies facing COVID pandemic challenges.
Public service agencies will receive the funding through the Community Development Block Grant. This round of checks will be given to eligible non-profits, public agencies, and community-based development organizations.
Community Development Coordinator for Madison County Lisa Mersinger tells the Big Z only services are eligible for the grants, they cannot fund any type of equipment:

Applicants who received grants in the last round of funding can apply again, however new applicants will be given priority. Otherwise, applications are processed on a first come first serve basis.
Applications are due by 3 pm on Friday, March 5th. Interested parties can fill out in application on the county’s website. We have provided a link below.
