Charges are expected to be filed today in a police chase last (Tuesday) night in Wood River. The pursuit began at about 7:45pm when an officer attempted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ferguson and Haller. The driver fled on foot, and a passenger got behind the wheel and sped away.

Deputy Police Chief Dan Bunt tells The Big Z the male that fled on foot was not captured.
