Charges are expected to be filed today in a police chase last (Tuesday) night in Wood River. The pursuit began at about 7:45pm when an officer attempted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ferguson and Haller. The driver fled on foot, and a passenger got behind the wheel and sped away.
Deputy Police Chief Dan Bunt tells The Big Z the male that fled on foot was not captured.

The suspect was treated for the dog bites at a local hospital before being transported to jail. Charges could include drug and weapons crimes.
