If you need to get a COVID test, there is an opportunity coming up Monday in Godfrey. The village is teaming up with the Madison County Health Department to offer a mobile “drive- thru” testing unit. Testing will take place from 8am - 4pm on the parking lot of the sheriff’s substation behind village hall.

Madison County Health Department Director Toni Corona tells The Big Z in addition to testing, you should continue to practice the "3W's."

You must enter the parking lot from Lars Hoffman Crossing. The center turn lane of Lars Hoffman will be used as a “vehicle waiting lane” as cars are directed to pull in by testing staff. The test is open to the public, no appointment is needed, and there is no out-of-pocket expense, Face coverings are required. You need to bring a photo ID and have a valid phone number.
