With COVID-19 cases still on the rise in the area, two more school districts are announcing changes to their in-person learning plans. The Southwestern School District is extending its “adaptive pause” through December 4. East Alton - Wood River High School is entering an “adaptive pause” beginning Tuesday.
In both cases, classes are tentatively scheduled to resume on December 7th if it is determined it is safe to do so. In the meantime, it’s remote learning for students, with East Alton - Wood River to go 100% remote on Tuesday, November 24th. During that time free meals will be offered each school day from 9-11am at the Bus Circle door to the East Building. Check with your local district for further details.
