Lewis and Clark Community College’s Truck Driver Training program could be a great opportunity for a reliable well-paying career.
The college is proclaiming that since the program launched in 2014, 86% of program graduates almost immediately have landed a job in the trucking industry.
Of the remaining 14%, over half of those graduates went on to further their education in the trucking field.
Program coordinator Kent Ripperda says that anyone who graduates from the LCCC truck driving program can expect to start out at a salary of around $50,000. The cost of their eight week program is around $3,500 and $3,650 for their sixteen week program.
