An open house is scheduled for Tuesday at Alton City Hall for the public to see the 20-Year Alton Pedestrian and Bike Master Plan. The plan is the culmination of the work of the Community Advisory Committee and this is the public portion of that report and everyone is welcome.
Alton Park and Recreation Director Mike Haynes tells the Big Z the plan is designed to help generate state and federal funding to make the vision a reality:

Haynes says the public will be asked to help prioritize various projects within the plan. The open house style meeting mean the public can come and go tomorrow at City Hall anytime between 5-7pm.
