Plans are being made to upgrade the football and soccer fields at Roxana High School to turf. The “Dirt2Turf” campaign will represent the collaborative efforts of the public and private sectors to bring a more up-to-date facility to the school. The Phase 1 goal is to raise $750,000.

Athletic Director Mark Briggs tells The Big Z that is the expected cost to re-do the football field:

Phase 2 would be to raise another $750,000 to turf the soccer field, which also serves as a practice football field. That would be a total of $1.5 million for both fields.
