Illinois’ tax credit scholarships are proving to be quite popular, with 481 students in 30 schools across the Catholic Diocese of Springfield receiving a scholarship to attend Catholic school just this year. There will be more opportunities coming, with 12 schools in the Diocese selected to participate in a new opportunity made possible by a recent anonymous donation.

Empower Illinois President Anthony Holter tells The Big Z the donation was made by a Catholic Couple from Chicago.
