Dateline: BethaltoRichard “Dick” H. Naylor, 74, passed away, on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Alton Memorial Hospital.He was born October 29, 1942, in Alton, the son of Richard L. and Doris M. (Guile) Naylor. Richard worked in the Winchester department, for Olin Corp. from where he retired in 2001. He was a member of the Westerner Club and enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, fishing and camping with his family, and spending time with his grandchildren.Survivors include his mother, Doris, of Bethalto; a daughter, Leigh and Paul Kaiser of Champaign, Illinois; five grandchildren, Ricky Naylor, Bethy Kaiser, Gwen Kaiser, Willow Kaiser, Xander Kaiser; three siblings and their spouses, George and Elisa Naylor of California, Gayle and Richard Boschert of Edwardsville, Maria and Stan Clements of Clarksburg, Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Richard, and one daughter, Connie Naylor, who passed away in 2016.Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.Service will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Lifebrook Church in Bethalto, with Pastor Steve Doering officiating.Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.Memorials may be made to .An online condolence and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com .
