Laura J. Howard, 47, passed away at 9:02 pm Friday, June 16, 2017, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.She was born October 9, 1969, in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Sharron (Stagner) Turner.Laura married Wesley A. Howard on February 21, 1997, in Edwardsville. He survives.She enjoyed playing bingo, watching wrestling and NASCAR, and camping with her husband. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughter, Jamie Schneider of Cottage Hills; her step son, Aaron Howard of Bethalto; and father and mother in law, David and Barb Howard of Cottage Hills.She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Andrew Schneider; two sisters, Lisa Gunter and Kim Waters; and her mother in law, Sharon Howard.Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.Cremation rites have been accorded.Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.An online condolence and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
