Shirley Mueller

Shirley M. Mueller, age 85, of Edwardsville, Illinois, died at 4:45 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois. She was born on November 22, 1931, in Edwardsville, the daughter of the late Joseph R. & Marie (Baca) Rozum. Shirley is survived by two sons, Steven Mueller & wife Shelly of Holiday Shores, Illinois, Mark Mueller & wife Kim of Edwardsville; one daughter, Joy Horton & husband Bill of Worden, Illinois; five grandchildren, Stevie & Nick Mueller, Aaron & Adam Horton, Angie Brase; three great grandchildren, Cheyenne & Andrew Brase, Joseph Schiefer; three sisters, Betty Rea of Edwardsville, Mary Jo Crew of Glendale, Arizona, & Jeannie Douglas of Cottage Hills, Illinois. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Snow, Verna Guadagano; and two brothers, Bob & William Rozum. Shirley was a devoted member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Edwardsville for many years. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the funeral home with, Rev. Rob Schneider officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Edwardsville. The family requests memorials to, Calvary Baptist Church or the American Diabetes Assoc.
