Patricia Hausman

Patricia “Patty” Lynn Hausman, age 59, of Godfrey, passed away at 7:05 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2017 at her home, with her family by her side.She was born in Alton on September 10, 1958 the daughter of Richard and Virginia (Hand) Hausman.There was not a stranger that Patty met. She loved every person she met, put a smile on their face and love in their heart. Those that met her was always greeted with a big smile and warm hug. She graduated from James Center and worked at Challenge Unlimited for several years. Patty loved watching Disney movies, the Wizard of Oz, and coloring in her books. She also loved music, especially Elvis, and would break out in a dance occasionally. In her healthier days, she loved to be in church at Beltline Christian Center, never missing a service. Patty always loved The Lord.Patty is the beloved daughter of Virginia Hausman; the loving sister of Rick (Debbie) Hausman; the beloved aunt of Amber (Micah) Redman, Angela Hausman, Amanda Miller, Ricky (Jena) Hausman, Alex Miller; great-aunt of Austin and Brody Hausman, Easton and Eli Redman. She will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a beloved care giver, Linda Mundy.She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Hausman; and her grandparents.Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2017, from 4 to 8:00 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.Funeral services will be held Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jon Sander officiating.Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Virginia Hausman for distribution to a charity of her choice.Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey is in charge of arrangements.Condolences may be found online at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
