Elizabeth M. Shipp, 64, passed away at 1:30 pm, on Thursday, May 10, 2018.
She was born January 10, 1954, the daughter of the late Batty and Nellie Taylor Mielke.
Elizabeth was co-owner/operator of Skipps Lounge in Godfrey and also retired from Olin Cor. as a machine operator. She was of the catholic faith and enjoyed yard sales, auctions, garage sales working at the bar, all of her animals and spending time with all her family and friends.
She is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Vance Wohlert of Carmel, IN and Troy (Marty) Wohlert of Alton, several grand and great-grandchildren, three sisters and seven brothers; and an uncle, Jim (Sue) Taylor of Hillview, IL.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Wood River VFW, starting at 3:00 pm.
Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto will be in charge of arrangements.
