Michael Scott Gegg, 39, passed away at 7:34 am Wednesday September 28, 2011 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born on April 12, 1972 in Alton, the son of Virgil & Sharon (Gould) Gegg.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Gegg of Alton; one sister and brother-in-law, Carol & Ken Crapo of St. Peters, MO, two brothers, Anthony “Tony” and Jeff Gegg, both of Alton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Gegg and grandparents.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 4 pm until time of funeral services at 7 pm Monday Oct. 3, 2011 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton.
Cremation rites will follow.
