Alton-Audubon Eagle Ice Festival 2018

Every year, as the river bend settles into Winter, bird enthusiast flock to the region to observe eagles nesting on the Mississippi River. To kick off the eagle season, the Alton Visitor's Center, along with the Audubon Center, host the annual Alton-Audubon Eagle Ice Festival. The festival features a shuttle from the Alton Visitor's Center to the Audubon Center with family activities and live bird viewings.
