EDWARDSVILLE - The Madison County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, announced the addition of Deputy Jadden Smith, who was sworn in Tuesday, July 7, 2026, and will begin field training immediately.
The sheriff’s office said Smith is its newest deputy and comes to the agency with experience from the Madison Police Department.

“The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is excited to welcome our newest member, Deputy Jadden Smith, to the team,” Madison County Sheriff Jeff Connor announced.
Sheriff Connor also said, “Welcome aboard, Deputy Smith — we wish you a safe and successful career.”
