Juanita Louise Miller, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025 in Cullman Alabama. Born October 8, 1949 to Edward and Bernice (Glassmeyer) Mouser. 
She graduated from East Alton- Wood River High School in 1967 and married Philip E. Miller on September 12, 1974. Juanita went on to earn a bachelor's degree in horticulture from SIUC in 1987 which was a passion of hers.
Juanita also loved sewing, crafts and quilting. She was a member of Heartland Quilters Guild in Al for many years and had earned many awards for her quilting skills. Juanita worked at Terri Pines Country Club in Cullman AL and earned several beautification awards for her dedication to flora. Juanita also did a lot of research in genealogy as family was important to her. Juanita is survived by her husband Philip E. Miller, mother Bernice Mouser, sisters Pam Walsh, Joyce (Karl) Bradshaw, brothers Mark Steven Mouser, Dennis (Cathy) Mouser, step daughters Philis and Samantha Miller, stepson Philip Miller, grandchildren Morgan Hansen and fiancée Ryan Gray, Jacob Hansen, Daniel Miller, Philip Miller III, Kyle Johnson, Jessica Barbee, Joshua Stamper, great grandchildren Harper and Maddox Gray, Koa Hansen, Meryre and Viktor Maynard, Timberlee Miller, Declan Miller, Philip Miller and many nieces and nephews.
Juanita was preceded in death by her father Edward E. Mouser, son John W. Hansen, grandchildren Justin Maynard, Philecia Miller. 
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday September 14 at Wood River Township Hall at 33 S. Ninth St, East Alton from 12-3 pm. Memorials may be made to 5 A's animal shelter in Alton, IL.
