The Pizzo family, originally from Sicily, Italy, opened Roma's Pizza Palace, on Prairie St. in Bethalto on February 20, 1973. The parlor quickly became a favorite spot specializing in our original recipe pizza from Italy.
Our family history has endured its trials, including armed robbery, burglary, and a fire that destroyed our building on Prairie St., causing us to relocate to 136 West Bethalto Blvd. To resolve parking difficulties due to our growth, we then moved to 121 E. Bethalto Dr. Through it all, we still serve delicious, mouth-watering pizza.
Our business is not all that has grown. We are now into our third generation. Mimma, Rosa, Angelo, and Vincenzo, Angelo, Lin, Julian and Alexia.
